Its a real team effort here at the Korkow Ranch — All our volunteers, their spouses who bake the cookies, bars, and treats that go on the hunting buses — Make the salsa and tomato sauce for Chili — And make a lot of pork sausage for breakfast. And those that get the hunting buses ready to go to the hunting areas. Also the “back office” group that cook and clean the kitchen area — those that do the dishes — do the paperwork. So, we can welcome our Pheasant Hunters and old friends.
Those of you that have pheasant hunted with us will recognize the entrance to Jim and TJ’s place. The saddle was also called the “Death Trap” high front and back — if you and horse had a wreck — hard to get out!
She had just shot her first Pheasant. Her smile tells the story and over the next couple of days; she bagged several more. A memory made!
