Here at the Korkow Ranch we went from roughly 3 weeks of 10-20 below to 40-60 above!  It’s allowing us to get a jump start on some spring jobs — like mowing food plots — get ready to plant trees — clean some items that we never had time for last fall.

I’m seeing quite a few pheasants, so at least some made it through the cold spell.  We will put out roughly 500 breeding hens in April, helps our native population and probably our predators but we can tell it in the fall with the number of birds around the Ranch — I just wish we could convince them to stay inside our fences!!

If your in the area this summer — stop in — otherwise we will see you for breakfast the first day of your hunt at the Korkow Ranch.
