Don went down to Omaha Monday — back to his place Tues. Picked up legs for benches — the crew put out breeding hens on Wed. — started working on benches Wed. afternoon. It’s Sunday the 19th — still working on benches. Matt Thompson — one of our cooks at hunting cut down and slabbed a cottonwood from his yard. Kevin Fick, another one of our volunteers — jack of all trades welded the legs. I just put them together and sand/seal — I’m not very “speedy”
We put the benches around the reference poles — Matt made us some a couple years ago — these will last a very long time!
