Skyler Leesman is busy planting a “cover crop” on some of our farm ground. The purpose is to add nutrients to the soil — he has the wheat stubble on top south of my building site planted to a mixture of Radishes, Peas, Collards, Rye Grass, Oats, Flax, Lentils — the Pheasants like to pick at the seeds as well.
