It’s Sept. 7th—–just a little over a month away till we start Pheasant Hunting at the Korkow Ranch, So far mother nature has been good for the birds at the Ranch—limited hail, good cover, good early rains and decent crops.
We are seeing broods around the Ranch—not at as many as I would expect with the St. Dept. of GFP numbers being up pretty good for this area—but enough—Roger Elliot (bus driver) and Dana Hessel (helps with cooking during the fall) have been here doing odd jobs—such as mowing in the trees, putting up “reference points” and watering trees.
