I’m not sure if this elk was going to help block at the end of the trees —- but he sure was impressive —- just “passing through” as he went down the East side of the trees —- guys on the outside thought he looked pretty nice as well. Also had a mountain lion that was around for a few days this past summer, we get those passing through about every summer.
We are getting our plans together for pheasant hunting this fall —- food plots all mowed —- have a bunch of breeding hens for April delivery —- then spraying and planting food plots are on the agenda. Will be making trips to lay in products so we have our supplies before hunting starts —- no time once hunting starts.
